Letter C and K- discussed how both letters can make the same sound, and built them with our sticks and play-doh.
Here is our song and action for the letter C and K:
Practiced writing our numbers with rainbow writing out in the big hallway. Students ran around and traced each number.
We also worked on our number identification by rolling our dice and parking a car in the corresponding parking spot.

Made a pattern on a candy cane and cut it out.
Explored graphing and worked on using the terms "most" and "least". We graphed our shoes and our gloves/mittens!
We drew our families.
To finish up our study on health and exercise, students cut out pictures of their favorite foods from magazines and glued them onto paper!
Ms. Emily visited this week and taught us all about opossums. The students learned that opossums have a pocket that they carry their 13 babies in, their babies are the size of a jelly bean, they like to play dead when predators come around, and they don't have any fur on their tail.
Students then played a game where they had to go pick up their babies and put them in their pocket, however, when the coyote comes around they had to play dead!

Next week we will have our holiday party!
