Letter R- Practiced writing the letter on our white boards and in sand. Built it with sticks and looked to see who had the letter in their name.

For our study on winter animals, we explored penguins. We learned that penguins live at the bottom of the world, they like to swim, and they eat fish. We watched a video on how the penguins carry their eggs on their feet and how baby penguins eat. We then measured ourselves next to an emperor penguin.
The students created their own penguins and tried carrying an "egg" on their feet!
