For the number 6 this week we traced the number in sand and practiced writing the number on a whiteboard.
For the number 7 we practiced writing it in shaving cream!

Worked on number identification by saying the number we rolled and slapping it with a fly swatter.
We also matched the quantity to the numeral with cubes.

To work on our fine motor skills, the students placed golf tees in their play-doh and balanced marbles on top.
Read books with flashlights during rest time!
Practiced our names by cutting all the letters apart and gluing them back in the correct order. We also practiced writing the letters of our name.
The students were able to explore some individual sensory bins with soy beans, animals, and tractors.
Next week we will explore pumpkins, and work on the numbers 8 and 9.
