Letter V: formed the letter with our Play-Doh and practiced writing the letter in our workbooks.
Here is the song and action for the letter V:
Reviewed our letters with window writing!
Made mini volcanos!
Worked on our counting with a math board game.
With all the rain this week we did some yoga during our inside recess time!
We also began our new study on insects this week. We discussed the different parts of an insects and their uses. We also looked at a list of insects and sang a song to help us remember all the parts to an insect. The song goes to the tune of head, shoulders, knees, and toes. Ask your preschooler if they remember the song!
It goes like this:
Head, thorax, abdomen, abdomen. Head thorax, abdomen, abdomen.
Eye, 6 legs, and antenna. Head, thorax, abdomen, abdomen.

Next week we will work on the letter Z and Ms. Emily will be visiting.
